Jeremy Fischer -Head Coach and Director of the USATF residence program at the Olympic Training Center Chula Vista. He has spoken in clinics for USATF, IAAF, and over 25 state high schools. He has coached medalist in both the Olympics and Paralympics and worked with athletes in the MLB and NFL. Jeremy is a down to earth speaker who presents in an easy to understand and apply method.

Paul VandersteenNeuqua Valley Paul has been the boy’s cross-country coach at Neuqua Valley High School in Illinois since the school opened in 1997.  He has guided Neuqua Valley to not only State Championships on three occasions, but the Nike Cross Country Nationals title in 2007.  Paul was also Chris Derrick’s coach, who won the 2007 Illinois State Championship and the National Cross Country individual title.

Nick Hartz–Sauk Valley College-  Nick has coached Jr. High, High School and College athletes over the past 15 years.   He has a USA Track and Field Level 1 Certification and a Level 2 Certificate in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays and Endurance.

Brandon Hieder (Eureka) -  Brandon has helped Eureka develop some of the State’s top Distance runners over the past 10 years.  Eureka is always in the mix in the 4x400 and 4x800 for a state medal.

Derek Debarr Pleasant Plains- In his seven years as the Pleasant Plains head boy's track coach, Derek has had 18 individual state medalists and three relay medals including the state champion 4x800 relay in 2014. In recent years, he has coached medalists in events ranging from the 800 to the 3200.

Todd Rork - Central A&M - In his 7 years as the head girl's track coach, he has had 2 state champion teams. Cental’s shot put and discus throwers have had 3 ladies who have won medals 13 times: Janie Howse (5 time medalist and 2012 state champ in the discus); Mikah Maples (5 time medalist); and Genny Stringer (3 time medalist and 2013 state champion in the discus).

Andy AccariLed by their sprinters, Newman’s Boys track team has finished in the top 10 in State three of the last four years.  Their sprint relays are usually one of the teams to beat in Charleston.

Madison Renfro – Madison holds the Indoor Records for the 55 and 60 meter hurdles at North Central College and was the National Indoor Champion in Division III her senior season in 2016.

Scott Salisbury - Scott is head trainer at Kewanee Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists. He is a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. 

Jessica Owen – Lakeview High School (Michigan) – After Majoring in in Nutrition, Jessica (a former BV Cross Country runner) has taken over the distance program at Lakeview and stresses the importance of Diet in their training cycle. She plans to cover general in season nutritional needs as well as competition days and nutrient timing.
