Travel Directions to BV Cross Country Meets

Erie:

     Erie Golf Course (Click here for MapQuest map to course)

Putnam County (McNabb):
    The meet is at Putnam Co. High School.  Travel east on  I 80 to  I 180.  Going south, take the Hennepin Exit.  After crossing the river go straight to Granville (Rt 71).  At Caseys turn left (North).  This will take you to the school, where the meet is held.

Princeton:
    City County Park.  About half a mile north of the Pilot station on route 26.  The entrance of the park is on the east side of the road.

Bureau Valley:
    Behind BV North School in Walnut.

St. Joe:
Get on I 74 east (Either at Peoria or Bloomington).  Go east through Champaign
And exit at St. Joesphs.  Follow the road south, and you will run into the school. Which is where the race starts and finishes.

Sterling:
    Take 40 north. Go to route 2, go east.  Take this to Woodlawn roads (there is a McDonalds) go south to the Woodlawn Grade School.

Elmwood:
 Go to Kewanee, and take 78/34 south out of Kewanee.  A couple miles south of Kewanee (at Black hawk East College), route 78 turns off of route 34.  Take route 78 south, and follow all the way to Elmwood (actually just north at the Maple Lanes Country Club).

Amboy:  We run at a golf course (I think it is called Shady Oaks) that is about 3 or four miles south of Amboy on route 52.

Detweiller:  Get on route 29 south and it runs right into Detweiller (Just north of Peoria).

Rochelle:  Take I 39 north.  Exit for Rochelle Rt 38.  Go east towards DeKalb approximately 10 miles to Kishwaukee College.  The meet is run at the college.

Oregon: Go to Dixon and take route 2 North.  This will take you to Oregon (it is a beautiful drive).  There is a stoplight (or maybe sign) at the beginning of town.  Go straight.  When you get into the middle of town you hit another stop light (it may be a stop sign), turn left.  This will take you to the school.  Go straight through their parking lot and it will lead into a park.  It is called Oregon Park West.

Spring Valley (Hall): The meet is at Hall HS.  Take I 80 east to Spring Valley exit.  Go south on 89.  As you come into Spring Valley, the school will be on your right.

Ottawa:  The meet is ran at Buffalo Rock State Park.  Take I80 east to Utica Exit.  Go south to Rt. 6.  Go east on Rt 6 for about 3 – 5 miles turn right at the LaSalle County Nursing Home sign.  Follow to the Nursing Home.  When you get to the T in the road at the Home, turn left.  The Park is about a mile down the road on your left side.

Kewanee: Take I 80 to 78 South.  Go to Kewanee (Thru Annawan) When you get to Casey's take a right on route82- (it's the road right after the Red Apple) Go until you see the Baker Park sign and go the golf course. Don't take the scenic drive- turn right before that. (It's marked).

Chillicothe: The meet will be run at Chillicothe IVC High School.  TO get there take route 29 south from Princeton to Chillicothe.  Go to the south end of town at the McDonald’s and turn right (west) at the stoplight (East Cloverdale road).  Go to Bradley Ave. and turn right (north).  The school will be on the west side of the road.  Click for map

Rockridge: Take I 80 west.  When it splits by the quad cities, go straight (I think it is I 74)  Continue to go straight past the Southpark mall exit all the way to the Milan (Route 67) exit.  Exit south and follow route 67 (You will have to turn left soon after you get into town, it will take you by a McDonalds) for about 5 miles.  Turn right at route 94 (or it may be also called 192).  I think it will have an arrow pointing saying either Taylor Ridge or Edgington.  When you get to Taylor Ridge route 94 turns south, but you will want to go straight on 192.  This will take you to Edgington where the school is on the road at the end of town.  We run at the school.  Click for map
